Customizing your Jail Bird
The punishment pin and the security screws options are available for this item. The Jail Bird must be 1 1/4″ inside diameter or larger and a length of at least 1 1/2″ for the punishment pin option to fit.
The cage for Jail Bird can be built with more than just the two rings. Please see the final image on the gallery below for an example. Extra rings are priced at $80 each. Any Jail Bird 2″ or longer in length can have the cage made with three rings. 3″ in length or longer can have a total of four rings.

I just received my jail bird and it is wonderful but I wanted to share my journey. When I first looked into chastity devices I heard the plastic ones could crack, so I knew I wanted a metal one. The first one I bought had a hinged base ring and would dig into my skin and I knew that it wasn’t going to work long term. Then I bought another one made up of metal rings welded together but that one rusted after a couple weeks of use. I was about to give up then I came across the mature metal website and read about their product. I was a little reluctant to spend $300 more when I had already spent several hundred dollars already on products that didn’t work. I thought the third time is a charm in a make it or break it situation. That was the best money I have ever spent as this product is extremely comforatable and well made. It is like a luxury liner compared to economy item. I ordered the sizing rings then the jailbird and in about 3 weeks it arrived, and I am extremely happy. I bought a Jailbird nearly two years ago. We experimented with other cages, including plastic, for some time before we decided on the Jailbird.
Apart from a short break from chastity, I’ve been wearing it constantly. It is extremely comfortable once your body adjusts; for me this was a week or so. It’s easy to keep clean and doesn’t interfere with my active lifestyle.

I love my jailbird..I have owned the cb3000 and 6000 and the jailbird is ten times better in every way…I have been in mine for 23 days straight now and it is very comfy to wear. I forget I have it on most days…except for the never ending horniness..:-) It is very easy to keep both the cage and my cock clean and safe. I use some moisture lotion a few times a day to keep from chaffing. It is a great feeling for both myself and my key holder to know there is no escape without the key…Secretly I hope my key holder never lets me out..If you are into long term chastity fun, then the Jailbird is worth the money….Customer servise is perfect..they helped me with a few of the necessary measurements I had questions about….I am only being honest here…it is worth it…:)

got my jailbird in 5 weeks. upgraded my order to include the security screw at week number 3. I was apprehensive as to just how secure the screw is, but it is secure! you will not get the screw out with out special tooling and possibly damaging the device, and possibly causing physical harm to yourself. The device is very comfortable. I have had a few different types of cages and am very impressed with the comfort, security, and fit of the Mature Metal Jailbird. get the sizing rings they got them to me in a couple days, to assure a proper fit, and the security screws if you have ever cut off a padlock as I have done. I am usually very picky and a stickler for detail. I am very pleased overall.

I bought my Jailbird way back in the spring, and I wanted to wait a while before I did a review of it.
It’s actually really comfortable (unless I’m being teased in which case it makes its presence felt damn fast!) – if I have it removed now (to fly, or something) I get that “must have forgotten something” feeling like I’ve gone out without my wallet or phone or something. It just feels weird not having the weight of it there.
Saying that, it’s really not that heavy. I was a bit self-concious the first few times I was wearing it out in public and to work (particularly to work, since I felt like everyone in the office would notice), but of course they didn’t – it is a discreet shape under clothes, and with the natural folds of the material I don’t think anyone would notice anything odd even if they were staring at my crotch!
It’s also really easy to keep clean, which is a real bonus – there’s enough space between the bars that I don’t have to do any of the stuff with cue tips that gets recommended for the CB range, and the oval base ring is really comfortable. Also, there’s enough space in the bars I can dry off after I grab a shower, and as others have said, it’s possible to pee standing up (I have to say I do that at work so nobody remarks on me going into a stall all the time)
Just occasionally I’ll get hard during the night, and wake up because it’s pulling on my balls, and I sometimes add an extra dab of lube just to reduce the friction then (although clearly I just need to think dirty thoughts less often!)
All in all, a really good investment.
The one thing I did do was (with permission!) file down the edges of the padlock before I began to wear it on a more permanent basis – the sharp corners hurt when I was driving and couldn’t spread my legs much, but after a little gentle rounding, even that’s fine now.
Really an awesome belt, and Mature Metal gave a good fast service even to outside the States, as well as loads of help while I measured up.

We thought about the Jailbird for a long time due to the cost and waiting time etc. However after the third split cage from CB and all associated skin nipping etc we plunged for the best reviewed device anywhere. M. MM was so patient in her emails with regard to all my questions on fit etc.The Jailbird was shipped on time but does take about 14 days to Europe as its fully tracked I could see progress on line. When it arrived it is a thing of beauty and I was supervised while fitting.
Unfortunately there was a ring spacing issue that led to a snag with fitting after a few days wear.MM got on this straight away with a full email telling me what adjustment to make or the offer of sending the ring back for adjustment. I managed the small adjustment myself and am now three weeks in perfect lock-down.

I received my Jailbird on June 11, 2012. The size and construction was perfect, and was immediately comfortable to wear full time. I am uncut, so its design makes it easy to stay clean without removing the device. I have been locked continuously with the exception of Dr. visits or having to enter an area that has metal detectors, with the Jailbird being replaced as soon thereafter as possible. It is secure (medium security screw), comfortable to wear, hides well under clothes, and customer service is the very best. My wife and I are very happy with the results. I highly recommend it.

I am the proud owner of a Jailbird since April this year previously owning CB 3K CB6K CB6kS and a Bon4. None of these measures up to the Jailbird,it can be worn for long periods , no cleaning problems , very comfortable and my wife prefers it because it looks secure and she can tease me through the bars but no chance of relief even after weeks locked up.
We use the security screw because it is tidier and no rattling padlock [ also cant be cut off easily]. The only thing I found was that it can be released with pliers so I made a brass spacer which has a recess for the head of the screw and the back end of the spacer is hollowed to fit tightly against the cage so will not turn. Now I know there is absolutely no escape and so does my keyholder
Has anyone else had this problem , maybe MM could look at the idea

Received our Jailbird on 3rd April, ahead of schedule. Immediately locked in and not released since. Very comfortable, clean, hygenic and effective!
Mistress loves it, and doesnt see any reason for release except for her pleasure. (unlike the plastic device we were using, which needed to be removed every day or so just to clean) She loves the look of the JB, and is happy for me to be wearing 24/7 365

I received my MM Jailbird today. Let’s face it, you get what you pay for. Its inescapable, yet wearable. I ordered it quite a bit longer than my flaccid length so that nocturnal erections were not painful. I can see no reason that it can’t be worn indefinitely. The only question is how much she will make me wear it.

Over the last several years, we have tried 4 of the CBx000 devices, the new silicone devices (Bon4, Birdlocked), and some off the shelf metal products. Nothing compares to the Jailbird. This is more comfortable than any of the others and far more secure. It is also simpler than most devices, with only 2 parts and a locking mechanism. In addition, the wearer doesn’t lie awake at night in fear the plastic will split and cut him, like some are known to do.
If you are wondering if you should order or not, stop. Just do it. If you are seriously into chastity, you can’t go wrong with the Jailbird.
